Apple Mac Repair

Macs more-or-less fit in the same category as laptops as far as repair is concerned - they take a lot of effort to get into, the components are custom, and unless the hard drive or RAM is at fault you're better off getting a new one. Having said that - as with most machines - usually the hard drive is the first thing to go, and that is easily replaceable.

Whether or not you really need a Mac is a topic of some contentiousness, and I've expressed my own thoughts here. But also it pays to check that the issue isn't software-related first. In my own experience, Macs don't necessarily fail any less than PCs, but it depends on the PC and how well it was built.
